Policies & Procedures Handbook
This handbook outlines the policies, procedures, and expectations of Temple Care Services. These policies are designed to ensure clarity, professionalism, safety, and a positive experience for both families and caregivers.
- General Policies
Temple Care Services is a faith-based childcare agency committed to providing compassionate, professional, and respectful care. All services are delivered with integrity, confidentiality, and excellence.
Services are provided based on availability and confirmed scheduling. Temple Care Services reserves the right to decline or discontinue services if policies are not followed
- Service Hours & Scheduling
- Service hours are agreed upon in advance.
- Any schedule changes must be communicated as early as possible.
- Overtime hours must be approved in advance and may incur additional fees.
- Payment Policies
- Payments are due according to the agreed schedule (daily, weekly, or bi-weekly).
- Accepted payment methods include cash, Zelle, Cash App, or other approved methods.
- Late payments may result in service suspension until the balance is paid.
- Cancellation Policy
- A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for cancellations.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be charged a cancellation fee.
- No-shows will be charged the full service rate.
- Holidays & Time Off
- Holiday availability is limited and must be requested in advance.
- Holiday services may be billed at a higher rate.
- Families will be notified in advance of any planned agency closures.
- Health & Safety Policies
- A safe and clean home environment is required at all times.
- Parents must disclose any allergies, medical conditions, or special needs.
- Sick children policies will be discussed individually based on service type.
- Temple Care Services reserves the right to refuse care if a child is ill or the environment is unsafe.
- Caregiver Conduct
Caregivers are expected to:
- Treat children with patience, love, and respect
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality
- Follow family instructions and agency guidelines
- Refrain from inappropriate behavior, language, or discipline methods
- Client Conduct
Clients are expected to:
- Communicate clearly and respectfully
- Provide accurate information about care needs
- Maintain professional boundaries
- Treat caregivers with dignity and respect
- Discipline Policy
Temple Care Services practices positive, non-physical discipline only. Physical punishment, harsh language, or humiliation is strictly prohibited.
- Confidentiality & Privacy
All personal and family information is confidential and will not be shared without consent unless required by law.
- Termination of Services
Either party may terminate services with reasonable notice. Outstanding balances must be paid in full upon termination.
- Faith-Based Values Statement
Temple Care Services operates on Christian principles of love, service, integrity, and compassion. Care is provided respectfully to all families regardless of background.

By engaging services with Temple Care Services, clients acknowledge they have read, understood, and agreed to these policies.
